Hi all, I have couple questions regarding to develop an XPCOM. What I try do is intercept the URI and change URI before sending. I implement nsIObserver to receive notice from nsIObserverService. I can get the nsIHttpChannel but this object only let me GetURI of the current URI of this channel. Is there anyway I can alert this URI like a SetURI function? How am I about to do it? or it is impossible.
Embeding API document mentions about using nsIWebBrowser::addWebBrowserListener, but I just don't get it. Anyone points me the right direction for this? Is it the same to use AddObserver from nsIObserverService and AddCategoryEntry from nsICategoryManager? Could someone explain the differences between these?
