Note that you can read them directly from the mozilla news server,
<news://news.mozilla.org/>.

That's where a lot of the work is done.  You might also check out
.rdf, .netlib, etc.

You're in the right place.  Though Netscape/AOL has a few internal
lists, those are generally for things that concern their specific
proprietary releases.  Another venue to check out is IRC: point your
IRC client at irc.mozilla.org, channel #mozilla.  And lots of the work
is done in bugs on <http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/> itself.
