Well this is starting to look seriously weird.

My directory is:

-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root       947992 Mar 29 04:03 libflashplayer.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           60 Mar 29 04:03 libjavaplugin_oji.so ->
/usr/java/jre1.3.0_02/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so
-rwxrwxr-x    1 root     root        38499 Mar 26 16:05 libnullplugin.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           48 Mar 29 04:16 nppdf.so ->
/usr/local/Acrobat4/Browsers/intellinux/nppdf.so
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root         4139 Mar 29 04:03 raclass.zip
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           30 Mar 29 04:16 rpnp.so ->
/usr/local/RealPlayer8/rpnp.so
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root         2363 Mar 29 04:03 ShockwaveFlash.class

So, I don't see what the problem is. Java and Flash work for me.
