First of all, let me say that I really enjoy the Mozilla browser and
email/news client. In the wake of its maturing however, there are a few
things that concern me. Will industry accept the Mozilla browser
serious enough to incorporate it under their umbrella.
Let me explain. I currently have available to me, on-line banking via
Compass Bank. I enjoy this service very much and don't want to leave
home without it. Presently, Netscape 6.0 isn't recognized by them and I
am not sure if it will be in the future. Secondly, Norton's Antivirus
program provide protection for incoming mail for I.E. and Netscape 4.0
and greater I believe. I enjoy this protection and don't want to
relinquish it in any way. The question is, will I be able to get this
service for Mozilla as I have Internet Explorer? Will industry
recognize Mozilla as a standard browser in time to come?
I prefer Mozilla over Netscape. Does anyone here see my concerns.
