We all know our current newsgroup structure is not what we would like. However, a convention seems to have emerged that general discussion goes on in n.p.m.general, and real work gets done in the other groups. The more offtopic stuff appears in other groups, the higher the noise level and the less work gets done. Therefore, this is a polite request for people to consider moving offtopic threads (such as the red star thread) back to that group. Gerv (Yes, I get this wrong as much as the next man.)
