I just tried to install 2001-05-23-09-trunk [ Win98se ].
First I tried the -sea-installer version; when it started up I got the
splash screen, then the profile chooser, then it said "Cannot find
navigator, make sure the name is spelled correctly," then I got a blank
window.

So I downloaded the .zip, I have had trouble with installer in the past.

No, this time I get the exact sequence of events . . . "Cannot find
navigator."
I have tried different installation locations, I've carefully
uninstalled previous versions, etc. etc. All to no avail.

Clearly, I'm missing something critical here. What?
