Mozilla mail crash

using the latest nightly build Mozilla will begin fine with the browser but
if I try to open the mail program I get the following windows error
"Mozilla has caused an error in MSGBASE.DLL
Mozilla will now close.

If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer"

This is the June 3 build but also did it on the last few nightly builds.

I'm running on Win ME on IBM Thinkpad 42 M
