Much as many people here might agree with you (myself included), this
isn't a forum about Microsoft. You didn't even bother to add the
slightest bit of a connection between this particular Microsoft action
and Mozilla.
Please leave such posts on alt.microsoft.sucks or SlashDot and leave
n.p.m.general for development of Mozilla. It's not like people here
don't read any other forums if they're interested in these issues.
Thank you.
I agree that I did not explicitly state the connection between my post and what I intended, but this is the general discussion group. My intention was to say that MS is lately discrediting Open Source (Mozilla IS an open source project) projects. There are people here who in this discussion group question the validity and viability of this project using the same lines of argument, something that I disagree with.
[EMAIL PROTECTED]">I think your ranting and assumptions about what others assume to be valid to be posted to this group are uncalled for. I am not an MS basher and as I said I made a comment to something that is or might be relevant to Open Source and Mozilla. You might disagree and that is fine with me. BTW, my post Subject tile (MS and Open Source) clearly stated the purpose of it. So chill out with the "selfrighteous indignation." I have no interest in a flame war with you
PS Sorry to rant, but it gets on my nerves when people assume that just
because a project competes with Microsoft in some way, anything negative
about Microsoft is automatically on topic. If every possible negative
thing about Microsoft was posted in n.p.m.general, you'd have a hard
time finding the Mozilla articles ;)
And for your information I have been downloading and testing Nightlies for Windows and Linux EVERY single day since they became available to the general public (I believe after Milestone 3) and I have submitted quite a few bug reports. I am posting this response using Netscape 6.1PR1 for Win98.
