There is a solution to your Netscape 4.x woes. Get the new Netscape 6 or Mozilla.
These are polished enough by now (except that this window (as I type) is not
wrapping)) to replace your antiquated 4.x. The problem you describe was one of the
main causes in Netscape 6/Mozilla being born.
