What was happening was that Mozilla was saying that there were no new
messages on the server for a particular newsgroup, when OE was saying there
were, and downloading them. I remembered reading something about corrupt
files in NC4.7, and wondered if this was the same thing. I exited Mozilla,
deleted the msf file for that newsgroup, relaunched Mozilla, unsubscribed
from that group, resubscribed, and everything seemed ok!

Hope this helps

Gordon
