Yes people do besides virus writers. Use Communicator 4.7.8 or IE 5 and
look at the following newsgroups.
Many of these people create their own websites and have business
creating websites for others. Many of the code used (much of it
Javascript) is used in creation of web pages and websites.:
<snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.test. multimedia>
<news://news.liveupdate.com/authoring.mailandnews>
Very little virus if any even at all is created with javascript. Its a
fairly secure code. About 95% of Virus on PC's is created using VBS and
other stuff created by Microsoft that has poor security.
Yes Javascript in email and news should be left in.
Many news letters receic=ved from various companies use HTML and
Javascript in their postings.
