Have you succeeded japanese input on GTK+ application e.g. gedit ?

Mozilla's XIM module has been implemented based on GTK+. So if
you could use japanese input on GTK+ apps on your environemnt,
Mozilla should work. How about just setting LANG=ja_JP.eucJP?
