There are variations of it now. Browser windows don't appear to steal focus from one another, but chatzilla and mail and news sure do. If I click on the mail and news icon and then click quickly click on an irc:// bookmark I can watch the two duke it out to see who is the champ :) Usually mail and news wins because it tries to steal the focus a couple times.
