I vary quite a bit. For the last few weeks it's been pretty much every day, just to see if the cache defect got fixed (jury's still out on that one). But then I've gone for several months between nightlies, only to see virtually no progress whatsoever. I would certainly say that once a week is far more than adequate to keep tabs on how things are (or aren't) going.
