version curiosity

I'm currently running 2002012503 on Win32.  "About:" indicates version 
0.9.7+, but the uninstaller asks if I'm sure I want to remove Mozilla 
0.9.8+.  Not that it really matters, but what's the difference?  I know 
0.9.8 branched on Wednesday, so I'm just curious.
