There's no such file, nor is there any "mailnews" folder?!

I'm talking about the icon in the system notification tray (near the
quicklaunch icon) which tells you when there is new mail (and how many
new messages, but that's broken for now). They said it was only a
temporary icon (and that's what it looks like - ugly, not suitingly,
unfinished).
