I just installed 0.9.8 (Win). Mail/News still ignores my proxy settings. I entered my socks server hostname and tried socks 4 as well as socks 5. Mozilla always tries to go the direkt way via port 110 (pop3) /119 (nntp).
I hardly can believe this. Since 0.9.3 I am waiting for socks to work. So, who ever sitting behind a firewall can use mozilla for mail or news? Alex
