Yes, I went there, and it is pretty clear what the institution is 
called. The standards they're releasing are called "Deutsche 
Industrie-Normen" though, which is "D. I.-N." and thus "DIN" too, which 
is why you can call DIN A 4 "Deutsche Industrie-Norm A 4".

In the topic of this thread, it doesn't matter whether a certain 
traditional German institute is called "Deutsches Institut f�r Normung 
e.V." or "Boris Becker-Verein". ;-) (except that nobody would trust the 
latter, would they?)
