well, I think the ones doing the coding of the
"core code" know their business very well.

what is more a problem is that the awareness
of the importance of DHTML is harldy there.

It seems that shouting & complaining from the
web-dev community, users, etc. about the lame
DHTML performance so far doesn't ge the attention
it deserves.
