Yes. Change your GTK theme.
I am not using Gnome with all bells and whistles - I do almost everything by hands. I have compiled my own Linux distribution, based on LFS (www.linuxfromscratch.org) all myself and installed Netscape-7 + libgtk. So, I have no idea on what you are talking about and how to change gtk theme.
