folders

I don't understand the relationship, or difference, between Mozilla and 
Netscape.... never knew there was a difference.  Anyway:  When I 
installed N6, I got the same folders I had set-up in 4.75, but then I 
also got duplicates under "local folder".  How can I get rid of either 
the folders under "inbox", or the ones under "local folder" ?
