So this is really cool.  Based on recent checkin comments, it looks like 
you can actually display messages now.  Is there any chance that when 
the branch becomes "usable" for some minimal definition of usable, that 
someone could periodically make branch builds available for the lamers 
like me who are too lazy/too busy/whatever to do their own builds? 
Having to wait two months to see the amazing speedup would be 
unfortunate, I think.  You probably have better things to do with your 
time, but I guess it can't hurt to ask.
