@ in mail-composer under linux

Mh,

I don't know if anybody noticed that, but under Linux I cannot type in 
the @-symbol into the receipents-field.... I use a german keyboard...
Is that a bug? I don't think, that Mozilla "thinks" I'm using an 
american keyboard, because z and y function as printed on the keys....
