No way that I know of to convert .msf to .snm and really there is no
reason to do so as these are summary files that store preference
information, etc.
To migrate 6.1 mail back to 4.78 just remember that mailbox files
without extensions such as INBOX, SENT, etc are simple ascii text files
without the extension. Rename your 6.1 mailboxes to *.OLD such as
INBOX.OLD, etc and move them to your 4.78 profile /mail/ directory where
they will show up in the folders/mailboxes list, etc.
