The author of the FAQ confirmed that it was NOT a joke. Here's his quote, "It's not a joke. That bit is deadly serious." But then, you would have known that if you had bothered to read the whole thread before posting. >> "We can all spell. Try learning - it's a useful life skill. Really." >> Doesn't sound like a joke to me. > > > WFM. (That was a joke, too!) I'm not sure what "WFM" means. Maybe a spell checker would have helped you with that. >> It's really not a joke when it is attached to bugs in bugzilla. Your mastery of debate is astounding. >> The fact that many people are asking about it and requesting it >> indicates that is important functionality. If I had the required skills and time, I would gladly implement it. Unfortunately, my skills are in other areas. >> Who wants to be part of a community that doesn't care? > > I want to be part of a community that doesn't care about ignorants who > don't care. (That was a joke, too!) (That "(That was a joke, too!)" was > a joke, too!) Who are you refering to as "ignorants who don't care"? The people who have posted asking about a spell checker obviously do care or they would not have wasted their time posting. > BTW: Use a valid From or don't post. I regret to inform you that I do not wish to give you the oppertunity to subscibe me to spam lists. As newsgroups are a discussion forum, I do not feel it is neccessary to include a return email address. I will check for responses here, and others may benefit if the discussion is kept in the newsgroup.
