Migrating mail from 4.7 to 6.2.1 on new PC

I bought a new PC and will install Netscape 6.2.1 on it.  My old PC has
Netscape 4.7.  How do I migrate my mail from the old system to the new. 
Can I just copy it and put it in the users subdirectory?

Any insights would be appreciated.  Thx.
