Under preferences, there is an item for selecting the web address
that is to be opened in the lower pane when MozMail starts. I set that
to the alphabet soup URL that is in the bar when I'm in my Hotmail
Inbox. This requires that I have checked the "Keep me signed in to .Net
sites" at some initial time I logged into Hotmail. This way, I see my
latest Hotmails whenever I start MozMail, though I can't delete, block
or respond without using the Navigator component. It must be said that
Hotmail offers SUPER spam filtering options; merely making a filter that
sends mail with "Free" into Junk Mail will spare you much time.
Netscape Web Mail is not good for MozMail. A Bronx cheer to Mountain
View for no filters. I have tried the same technique for setting the
opening URL to ncmail.msglist.adp? Problem is that it constantly unlogs
me and requires me to start the browser to log in, then close and reopen
MozMail. But, until they offer filtering, all that is moot.
