Yes, but if your AV program is brain damaged and must delete the whole file, you
don't lose all your emails, only attachments which at worse you can request to
be re-sent.

The good part of Mozilla is that it won't run attachments, period. So we don't
have the "Let's make a mail reader that will automatically execute any programs
or script sent ti it form anyone in for world!" features.
