Hello,
When I use the EURO letter in an html page, I have no problem defining
the page as ISO 8859-15 and using alt+0164 or the locale currency key
(altGR+$ on a French keyboard, winXP) to insert the euro letter. When I
want to send a message with the euro letter (same method as above to
insert the euro symbol and the character coding for the message is
ISO8859-15), I have a warning box telling me that my message contains
characters not included in ISO8859-15 and the received message countains
? symbols instead of the euro character.
The headers of the message show these settings :
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-15; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug in the mailnews component
with ISO8859-15 support ? I could not find anything in Bugzilla
Pascal
