Is HTTP1.1 is compalible with QT?

Hi,

We are developing a embedded web browser, running on embedded QT on
linux.
I wanna know:
Existing socket code run on the QT? if not,
How can I make HTTP 1.1(mozilla) compatible with the QT.
Do I have to rewrite all the socket code to make compatible with QT
library. If so,
How to go about. what are the files I need to take care?
