I had a fairly complete implementation a couple of months ago that I 
still have archived. The main blocker was

and apparently still is.

According to a comment by [EMAIL PROTECTED] it should be a lot easier 
to fix. Once that is fixed, implementing (windows only!) NTLM is a 
no-brainer.

I am waiting for a rainy day to check out the code changes, maybe I 
could fix it myself?
