[EMAIL PROTECTED] have started planning target dates for upcoming
mozilla milestones. Below are the current set of dates associated
with each of the upcoming milestones. Brendan will be sending out
some additional detail and updates to the road map that will describe
the effort going into each of the upcoming check points in a bit.
The milestones are roughly 5 weeks apart. The goal is
to try and make some very good software for mozilla 0.9
that several organization might be interested in producing
beta products around and to help us get a good view
and wide spread use in preparation for hitting mozilla 1.0.
0.8 is half way to the 0.9 date and will give us a check point
to determine if we are on track. If your the current owner
of bugs that you plan on working on over the first 10 weeks
of 2001 it would be very helpful if you assigned the corresponding
milestone to your bugs.
This will help [EMAIL PROTECTED] and other folks interested
in the project to get a better overall sense of the progress we think
can be made over this development period, help us to sort
out dependencies between individual tasks, and to try and
make sure we have folks working on the tasks that will have
the biggest positive impact.
Remember these dates: Feb. 7=0.8 , Mar. 14=0.9, and Apr. 18=0.9.1...
