Hi

With the zip style on Windows there is no
official profile manager short cut,
make a new one to the mozilla.exe and add one blank space
and -ProfileManager so it looks like this
\mozilla.exe -ProfileManager
or just add -ProfileManager to the short cut on your desk top.
In the registry look here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org []
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org\Mozilla []
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org\Mozilla [CurrentVersion]
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\0.8 (en) []
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\0.8 (en)\Main []
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\0.8 (en)\Main [Install
Directory]
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\0.8 (en)\Uninstall []
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\0.8 (en)\Uninstall
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\0.8 (en)\Uninstall
[Description]

Word of caution if you are sharing a profile between Mozzila and NS 6X
then if you don't want to lose your mail and preferences then don't
delete the file registry.dat that you'll find in windows\mozilla\user.
or the location of the profile, no biggy if you do but you'll have
to start from scratch on setting up your mail program again.
But if you, as you say still drive around with NS 4X that
is your post office, then Nuke it and Nuke it good
