Right now, I have TWO browsers on my system. Internet Explorer 5.5 and Mozilla .8. I am perfectly happy with having two browsers on my system. In fact, sometimes, it comes down right handy to have two browsers on the system. Sure, most of your Mozilla diehards would not have IE on the system, but, I keep it around since Mozilla is not quite there yet with the rendering of web pages. It still has some problems rendering pages. For instance, http://www.dslreports.com . Look at it in IE and then Mozilla. IE displays it more compact than Mozilla. I know, that once you guys get the bugs out of Mozilla and get it into a 1.0 release, it will kick IE in the pants. Right now, Mozilla does a down right wonderful job rendering text, but, IE renders images faster. Also, Mozilla has a loading problem. Sometimes it will lock in the loading sequence. It also has a bad resource hog. Have you ever looked at how much Windows Resources Mozilla takes and then gives back in Win9x mode? It doesn't give it all back. But, as I said before, I full-heartedly believe that Mozilla will kick IE in the pants once Mozilla gets the bugs and solves some of the rendering problems, resource hogs, and loading problems. Tom PS: Don't start a "flame war" over this. I know that Microsoft has the superior browser right now, but, believe me when I tell you that when Mozilla gets out the alpha and into a 1.0 release, it will kick IE. I have great admiration for the people who work on Mozilla and have the guts to go against everything Microsoft does.
