(I should have done this many moons ago, like I promised Ed Burns I would, but it slipped my mind. Still time to remove this legacy noise from our 1.0 stuff, though.) Prior to the 0.9.1 freeze, I'm going to be finally disabling and removing support for use of NSGetFactory/NSRegisterSelf/etc. as component entry points. There is no need for them, and there hasn't been for quite some time, and in fact their continued use has made things like the static-build work harder. If you'd like to see if your code will need to be brought into the 20th century, you should use this LXR query: http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/ident?i=NSGetFactory I've blind-copied some people on this message, where I know that they own the code in question, or will be able to immediately finger the person who does, but finding the right owner for some of it is non-trivial.
