Hello all,

Sorry for cross posting here, but I really need to get this message out.

The Netscape PDT chose to temporarily accept the DOM prototype fix
(http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83433) for the Netscape 6.1
branch yesterday but in order for the changes to remain on the branch,
and be included in Netscape 6.1, we'll need your help to verify that
these changes don't cause problems anywhere.

If you want to see the DOM prototype changes included in Netscape 6.1
once it ships, then please help us by downloading a mozilla0.9.2 build
from 7/18/01 or later (should appear in
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-0.9.2) and run the
build as much as you can. Please test any DOM related things you can
think of and excersize as much of the browser as you can, especially
test the profile creation wizards, the mailnews account wizard, and any
other UI tasks that comes to mind if you have a chance to.

If you do test these builds, please let me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) know that
you tested them and that you either didn't see any problems, or that you
did see problems. If you find problems that doesn't appear in earlier
branch builds then file bugs against me, and in every case drop me an
email, let me know no later than friday (7/20/01). If you continue using
these builds past friday and you find problems then by all means, let me
know even if it's past friday.

Having the DOM prototype changes in Netscape 6.1 will help us all long
term, so if you have some spare time please help us out here.
