It's not for the assignee; I recently filed an enhancement request
assigned to myself, and someone else (not anyone directly involved
with the bug) came along and added [RFE] to the summary without
asking me. (I don't mind, and had considered doing that myself
when I filed the bug, but chose not to since it was redundant and
I knew I'd be able to tell from the description that it was an RFE.)
I presumed it meant that there was some new bugzilla policy I
hadn't heard about.
Color in bugzilla bug lists sounds like a great idea if someone has
time to implement it. Of course, it wouldn't help for people who
are printing out their bug lists on a B&W printer, or saving a
buglist to an ascii file, or sending as plaintext mail.
I presume the summary [RFE] is for people who do a lot of work
with large bug lists in plaintext form (managers, and volunteers
who triage bug lists).
