As part of the process of updating the module owners list, I am planning to remove obsolete and irrelevant directories from mozilla.org's cvs source repository.
The following directories have been identified as obsolete: mozilla/calendar mozilla/cmd mozilla/modules/calendar mozilla/network mozilla/tripledb mozilla/wallet mozilla/xpfc mozilla/xpfe/AppCores This directory has been pointed out as possibly obsolete: mozilla/shell And these directories are considered to be irrelevant: mozilla/apache mozilla/tripledb If any directories have been erroneously marked obsolete/irrelevant, or if you know anything about the status of mozilla/shell, please let me know. Otherwise I plan to cvs remove all files from these directories (the cvs equivalent of removing the directories themselves) in the near future. Note that cvs removing the files does not render them irretrievable. You will still be able to check them out directly by version or indirectly by date, and they can be resurrected if their status changes. Once the files are removed, however, the directories that contain them will be removed from your local working copy the next time you check out the tree using the "prune empty directories" option to cvs (-P), and the module owners list will not include them in its list of directories in need of an owner. -myk --- References: Module Owners List: http://www.mozilla.org/owners.html Module Ownership Survey: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/survey.cgi
