Can anyone spill the beans on "port blacklisting", checked in on June 5 under the umbrella of secret bug 83401? The whiteboard on that bug has good stuff like "MUST HAVE. Security Hole." If there was/is a security hole, users and developers need to know about it, not just *@netscape.com. If the fix was for some kind of buffer overflow in network protocol handling, the fix seems bogus. If the fix was for something more subtle, the community still needs to know.
