I meant "to do for seamonkey what FF 1.0.1 did for FF 1.0 with respect to IDN/punycode", whatever that was. (I don't know what FF 1.0.1 did. Please elighten.)
OK. It did two things:
1) Make the network.enableIDN work properly
2) Implement a new pref, network.IDN_show_punycode, defaulting to true, which makes Firefox show punycode instead of Unicode for all IDN domains.
To achieve this in Seamonkey, you need to update to a nightly build, 1.8b1 (or was it 2? the most recent one) or 1.7.6, due soon.
