How to use XPCOM outside mozilla environment?

Can anyone tell me how to use XPCOM without
all mozilla environment.
I pick out following DLL under Windows2000
professional ,

mozreg.dll
nspr4.dll
nsplc4.dll
plds4.dll
regxpcom.dll

and created a component succussfully, however when any of the method was
invoked, a memory error would occured.
