Hello, I do not know a working solution... but I have the same problem!
I'm looking (as you are) for a way to generate and send asynchronous events from an XPCOM c++ component to the dom, so that an EventListener in the currently loaded page could catch them.
As a first step and as a proof of concept, I would like to generate a fake keyboard event...
Could anyone point us in the right direction?
