We have released the first public beta-version of the cross-platform document viewer HelpExplorer version 2. HelpExplorer version 2 has comprehensive implementation on the Gecko-Delphi Framework and it is available for two platforms Win32 and Linux. There is an additional feature in the new version: it enables to view document files in the format CHM. You can also use JavaScript and multimedia files (Flash, Real Video, Acrobat) inside the document file. Besides part macro of the language WinHelp is available for CHM inside HelpExplorer. To make available HelpExplorer for your VCL or CLX application it is enough to add HexplSys.pas as a first file of the project. HelpexplSys.pas implements Delphi IHelpViewer interface for HelpExplorer.
