unistall extension clean up script?

Is it possible to run a separate script after the user selects uninstall 
 extension in Firefox 0.9+ ?

I would like to be able to remove a properties directory my extension 
creates on first run. I am hoping there is a way to specify an uninstall 
script to run in install.rdf inside the XPI archive.
