Leonard, If you are looking to access the browser information from another (non-browser) process, then like many people here you are out of luck. The best bet seems to be to write a browser extension yourself that can do your own IPC with the other process.
Actually, for communicating to a Mozilla browser, you might consider using http://www.croczilla.com/jssh though I don't know how far or how wise such action would be.
