What do you want from the XML file? A DOM document in memory? Then use <http://www.xulplanet.com/references/xpcomref/ifaces/nsIDOMParser.html> If you want to load from a URL then I think you need <http://www.xulplanet.com/references/xpcomref/ifaces/nsIXMLHttpRequest.html>
