I need to download text file (UTF-8 charset) using XMLHttpRequest (I need XMLHttpRequest because I need both async and sync connection). I have a problem with writing the result of responseText into the file - some characters (like "Å" etc) are replaced by "D". Can someone help me with this - I will be really appreciated.
