Hi,

I want to control Thunderbird from a Win32 application using COM components. Is it possible and how can i do this ??

Thanks

I cant say if it is possible, or how [I am not that experience], but I do know that nsISupports is ABI compatable with MS_COM's IUnknown.

I'd be interested to know the answer to this question as well. I think you can init XPCOM from another process, and run an XPCOM app, such as Thunderbird, in that other process. However, i'm not sure if you can have Thunderbird running as a separate process, and interacting with another process using XPCOM.

P.S. I'm making another post on IPC support in XPCOM.
