XPCOM by itself provides no such file stream implementation. Instead,
the implementation lives in Necko (necko.dll / libnecko.so). Hope this
helps.

Alexey,
Have a look at file-utils.js:

This might give you some clue.

Umesh.

Subject: nsIOutputStream for IFile
Hello all!
Is it possible to get nsIOutputStream for file on the file system in
XPCOM Standalone?
I need to write data into file. I found nsIOutputStream but do not
know how to make it for local file.
Also I found nsIFile for working with file-names, but no any way to
created a nsIOutputStream for nsIFile.
Is it possible?
With Best Regards,
Alexey Kakunin.
