Please ask these kinds of questions in netscape.public.dev.xul, they really don't have that much to do with XPCOM.
You want nsIAppStartup.quit. eAttemptQuit will prompt the user and stop the quit if any confirmation dialogs are cancelled, while aForceQuit will quit no matter what (not recommended in most cases).
